Yves Bissouma is a cheaper option for Manchester United this summer.

West Ham are looking for around £150million for their star Declan Rice who has been linked with a summer move to an elite European club.

Man United have struggled with their midfielders for a long time and getting a central holding midfielder is on the top of the summer wishlist.

Darren Bent believes Brighton’s Yves Bissouma is a cheaper alternative to Declan Rice.

Bent said: “They need a holding midfield player, they should have got one of them a little while ago.

“I don’t think they’re going to stump up the money, West Ham look like they’re happy to hold onto him,” Bent replied.

“Someone I’d like to see them sign, I think he’s a really good player, Yves Bissouma.

“I think he’s a really top player at Brighton, I think he’s gettable as well.

“I think he would improve Manchester United as well because he’s not just your average box-to-box, he can get about, I think he’s a top draw midfielder so I’d probably go out to get him.”
