According to rumors, Amorim will receive a smaller budget than the previously stated Ten Hag, but Man United is still anticipated to look to the transfer market for reinforcements in 2026. Florian Plettenberg claims that Manchester United has up to ten players on their list of potential targets for the upcoming campaign.
Alex Meret, Kenan Yildiz, Victor Boniface, Theo Hernandez, Milos Kerkez, Omar Marmoush, Ederson, David Raum, Viktor Gyokeres, and Antoni Milambo are all being watched by Manchester United as possible 2026 additions, according to the journalist from Sky Germany.

5. Yan Diomandé: Man United transfer targets

- Age: 19
- Club: RB Leipzig
- Position: Forward
- Estimated Value: €70 million (release clause)
For an estimated €60–70 million, Manchester United may sign RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande.
According to Sky Sports, Manchester United may need to pay between €60 and €70 million to sign Yan Diomande. Despite earlier claims of a far larger asking price, the Red Devils may view the RB Leipzig player as an option to Antoine Semenyo, so they may get him for less.
Many were surprised by Manchester United’s recent pursuit of Antoine Semenyo given the amount of money they spent on attackers throughout the summer. It should come as no surprise that the club was enticed to sign the Bournemouth star because they clearly want to reinforce the left wing to some degree.
4. Nathaniel Brown: Man United transfer targets

- Age: 22
- Club: Eintracht Frankfurt
- Position: Left-Back
- Estimated Value: €35.6 million
Nathaniel Brown’s ascent from promising to well-known has occurred rather rapidly. In addition to being well-known as a senior international, the 22-year-old left defence for Eintracht Frankfurt has been the subject of a heated transfer scramble. His scouts were most recently watching him against Atalanta and Düsseldorf, and he is apparently on Real Madrid’s shortlist for the upcoming summer.
Barcelona has also expressed a keen interest, while Manchester United is monitoring developments and weighing their potential. In Germany, there’s a sense that Frankfurt knows the tide is shifting. According to the Plettenberg, Markus Krösche is apparently seeking between €60 and €70 million to sign Brown, and the club is 100% convinced that he will go in the summer.
3. Dusan Vlahovic: Man United transfer targets

Dusan Vlahovic should be one of the top transfer targets for Man United.
- Age: 25
- Club: Juventus
- Position: Forward
- Estimated Value: £50 million (release clause)
GiveMeSport claims that Manchester United has been given the opportunity to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, who is eager to play in the Premier League and particularly wants to work under Ruben Amorim.
The 24-year-old Serbian international, who has one year remaining on his Juventus contract, is expected to leave the Serie A squad this Transfer after being deemed unnecessary for long-term requirements.
Even though he makes about £200,000 a week, Vlahovic has stated that he would like to relocate to England. He is hoping that head coach Ruben Amorim will step in as he looks to add more firepower at Old Trafford. Intermediaries and his agents are now aggressively working to broker a deal that would take him to Manchester.
2. Ruben Neves: Man United transfer targets

- Age: 28
- Club: Al-Hilal
- Position: Midfielder
- Estimated Value: €17 million
According to reports, Manchester United made Barcelona an offer for their Dutch midfield midfielder at up to €85 million (£72 million). Frenkie de Jong’s return to Old Trafford, where he played for Ajax, was much anticipated by Erik ten Hag, Manchester United’s new manager. However, the player and I have not yet reached an agreement on personal matters.
Manchester United and Barcelona have achieved a “complete agreement” about a possible £72 million move for midfielder Frenkie de Jong. Erik ten Hag, the team’s new manager, is keen to bring the 25-year-old to Old Trafford. He has been United’s top summer transfer target.
1. Jean-Philippe Mateta: Man United transfer targets

- Age: 28
- Club: Crystal Palace
- Position: Forward
- Estimated Value: €40 million
Football Insider sources claim that Manchester United is considering Jean-Philippe Mateta as a potential addition to their offensive lineup.
The 28-year-old Crystal Palace forward has not yet signed a deal to extend his current contract at Selhurst Park, which ends in the summer of 2027. Several Premier League teams are concerned about this.
United’s interest is part of their plan to improve the depth, reliability, and leadership of their front line. This context clarifies why Mateta has grown to be an important force. The France international has quietly become a major attacking target for Crystal Palace.
Palace is not currently under any pressure to sell, but interest from a team of United’s calibre could test their resolve, particularly if Mateta demonstrates a willingness to take on a new challenge.
Man United signings:
The Transfer transfer plans for Manchester United under Ruben Amorim. Moreover, the trustworthy source listed Viktor Gyokeres, Georgiany Quenda, and Tomas Araujo as his top three Primeira Liga targets. Though United has only won four of their 12 games so far, they are still 15 points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool going into this weekend’s games. United still needs to improve in order to move on to the next round of the Europa League, despite their victory over the Norwegian team on Thursday, moving them up to 12th place in the 36-team league schedule. It remains to be seen who they add as a center-back, and they have plenty to choose from.

Hi,
This is a great article but i don’t think koke is going to come
Thanks
Hey am santos johns from uganda i wish jadon sancho make a better change to man u
Man U should let Fred go on loan, get an experienced midfielder with presence. Let Lingard go , Get a good right back to back Wan Bissaka , Brendon Williams not Man U caliber definitely.. so he should also be listed. Yes a Varane, also another center back in case of Maguire or Varane injury.. A Harry Kane would be a dream come true for us, thank you. In case of a Bruno or Pogba injury we should look into Grealish to fill role , I don’t see Van de Beek prospering in a united shirt respectively. Lastly Ole , he should be more aggressive with the players if he wants to see the very best of his players. Pep is successful because he is aggressive with his players he demands more instead of ole sitting and hoping. He should be more vocal.
Hi, I think what man united need most now is one midfielder, one top striker and defender. But if man u can sign Erling haaland and Jack grealish. Then the trophy is coming home to united.
