Man Utd one of the options for Ronaldo in summer

Coronavirus has caused a serious financial crisis. Even the wealthiest sports groups are not immune to the crisis. Several media reports claim that Juventus will sell Cristiano Ronaldo because of the crisis.

The Portuguese wizard has an annual salary of 31m euros and a contract for the next two seasons. In a time of financial crisis, Ronaldo’s salary is a huge burden for Juventus.

The media have speculated that the Turin based club might hear offers from other clubs for Ronaldo. Speculation suggests Juventus would be satisfied with €70m. The only question is who would set aside that much money for a 35 year old footballer.

Reportedly there were two clubs, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

The Red Devils have wanted to return the player which they sold for €94m in 2009 to Real Madrid, while PSG are considering Ronaldo, should the two biggest stars Neymar and Kilian Mbappe leave the club.
