After agreeing to every detail of the agreement, West Ham United is pushing to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka, a defender for Manchester United. According to Sky Sports writer Dharmesh Sheth, he will have a medical on Monday. With Diogo Dalot an option for Erik ten Hag and Noussair Mazraoui presently traveling to England to finalize a contract, Wan-Bissaka may find himself moving down the Old Trafford pecking order for the upcoming campaign.
According to The Athletic, “West Ham and United had struck an agreement on a £15 million fee for the 26-year-old full-back.” Considering Wan-Bissaka’s background and Premier League experience, many will view this as great deal. Wan-Bissaka, who cost United an initial £45 million when he signed for Crystal Palace in 2019, was previously seen to be one of England’s most talented defensive players.
Wan-Bissaka to West Ham Now Fully Agreed
There were rumours that Wan-Bissaka’s scheduled 4 p.m. medical appointment had been postponed on Sunday night. The Hammers were still optimistic that they might come to an agreement, but the Manchester United defender needed to finalize the details of his transfer. Wan-Bissaka is scheduled to have a medical exam on Monday morning, according to Sheth, who has now confirmed that every detail of the agreement has been reached.
After spending the previous two years at Bayern, Mazraoui will sign a five-year contract that has the possibility to be extended by an additional year. On Monday, Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt, his Bayern teammate, are anticipated to be unveiled by Manchester United as their newest summer recruits.
