Manchester United target has asked to leave Bayern Munich

The right-back from Bayern Munich, Noussair Mazraoui, is expected to cost Manchester United between £15 million and £20 million. One potential roadblock to the deal could be the requirement to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka in order to pay for the move.

The agreement between the East London club and the Moroccan fell through, despite the fact that Wan-Bissaka still needs to be signed at a cost that suits United. A prior agreement between West Ham and the German team for Mazraoui was £12.6 million plus an additional £2.3 million.

The 26-year-old’s coach at Ajax from 2018 until his move to Old Trafford four years later, Erik ten Hag, thinks Mazraoui can help Antony improve.

Manchester United strike Mazraoui deal but one star must go first

This summer, Erik ten Hag is searching for a new right-back, but a contract is contingent upon a single circumstance. TalksPORT has learned that Mazraoui’s departure from the team may depend on a deal that removes Aaron Wan-Bissaka from it.

The £15 million defender is being linked to West Ham, so Man United’s pursuit of him will hinge on getting the former Crystal Palace star out of the door. Just last week, though, he turned down the opportunity to relocate to east London. The defender and the Hammers are once again in negotiations.

The East London club had also been pursuing Mazraoui; they had previously reached an agreement for a £15 million deal before deciding to concentrate on Wan-Bissaka.
