Manchester United Ace edges closer to a exit from the club

Matteo Darmian set to undergo a medical with Juventus

Matteo Darmian joined Manchester United from Torino for an undisclosed fee, believed to be £12.7 million in the summer of 2015. But has failed to establish himself as a regular starter for the club since joining them.

Since Jose Mourinho took over the charge of the Red Devils in 2016, the Italian has struggled for regular game time under him. He fell out of the pecking order last season as the manager used to prefer Antonio Valencia ahead of him.

The 28 year old just managed to make 16 appearances in all competitions and has been heavily linked with a summer exit. The Portuguese coach has prioritized signing a new full back in the summer and is close to signing Porto’s Ace Diogo Dalot.

The defender has been linked with a move to Juventus and the club have also pursued him in recent months as they are also looking to bolster their squad for next season.

Serie A champions are in the market for a new right back as Stephan Lichtsteiner will leave the club on a free transfer and wants a new player to replace him. Allegri is a keen admirer of him and believes he could be one of their key players next season.

Matteo Darmian is set to undergo his medicals with Juve according to SportItalia as quoted by CalcioMercatoHe will be moving to the Turin side as he should cost them 12 million euros.

The wingback was spotted in Milan as he is reportedly set to undergo his medicals tomorrow morning in Turin.
