Romano has also stated that Real Madrid player Aurelien Tchouameni is their “dream” midfield target; however, it’s uncertain if he will be permitted to leave the Bernabeu given his well-publicised altercation with teammate Federico Valverde, who was also named as a target for United.
Elliot Anderson of Nottingham Forest is Carrick’s top target, according to Givemesport sources, although the England player is more likely to sign with Manchester City. According to Get Italian Football News, the Brazilian can help Michael Carrick’s team by improving the midfield’s technical footing.
