Manchester United Drop To Third In'Richest' List
Former Manchester United Forward Backs Ole Gunnar Solskjaer To Be The Permanent Manager

Deloitte Football League 2019 have released their list of the clubs earning the most revenue and to many people’s surprise, Manchester United are no longer the richest club in the world.

Very quickly the Red Devils have dropped third behind Real Madrid and Barcelona in the race. The Galacticos are reported to have made over €750m over the past year and also became the first club ever to do so. This is the 12th time out of the 22 editions posted by Deloitte that Madrid have topped the list. Barcelona came in second with around €690.4m recorded in profits.

Manchester City are still the second richest Premier League club behind their arch-rivals, United, despite transcending into worldly status by winning the top-flight title 3 times over the past decade.

The Citizens recorded €568.4m in turnovers last over which is only a hair ahead of 7th placed, Liverpool. The latter has seen their profits rise from €424.4m to €513.7m after a wonderful run in the UEFA Champions League last term and turning themselves into title-contenders this season.

Tottenham Hotspur should be pleased to make it into the top 10 list for the second time in their history. All the clubs presently in the top 6 spots of the Premier League have made it into the Deloitte list with Chelsea spotted at 8th and Arsenal at 9th.
