OFFICIAL: Man United confirm arrival of PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte

According to reports, Manchester United will try to buy Valencia’s 22-year-old Spanish midfield prospect Javi Guerra during the summer transfer season. Reputable Italian journalist Daniele Longo has reported that Manchester United is interested in Javi Guerra.

The Red Devils are keen to add a dynamic midfield player to their first-team roster during the summer transfer window. Thus, the faltering Premier League team has made the 22-year-old Valencia midfield prospect their aim.

Guerra and Manchester United have reached a verbal agreement on personal terms, bringing them one step closer to joining forces during the summer transfer season. The Spaniard is also being pursued by several English and Italian teams. The teenage player has already turned down the chance to sign a new deal with Valencia.

Man United reach verbal agreement on transfer with La Liga star

The summer of 2027 is when his current contract is set to end, and Valencia is eager to offer him a new one. However, according to Longo, the Spaniard is “leaning towards” turning down Valencia’s offer. The Red Devils, who have not yet reached a deal with the La Liga team over his transfer fee, have instead received his word.

The Italian journalist goes on to say that other clubs in England and Spain are also interested. Although AC Milan has also been heavily connected to the midfield player, their current focus is on signing Club Brugge’s Ardon Jashari.

United has been connected to several midfield players in recent days, suggesting that revamping the midfield is now their top priority.

According to a recent Portuguese source, the Premier League’s biggest clubs are keeping an eye on Morten Hjulmand’s status at Sporting CP.

Juventus and Inter Milan are also vying for the Denmark international, who flourished under Amorim as a holding midfielder.
