Sergej Milinkovic-Savic Top Manchester United transfer target

Paul Pogba looks all set to say sayonara to Manchester United this summer after he revealed his intentions of switching clubs for a new challenge this summer. The Frenchman’s departure will leave a big hole in the Red Devils squad, but it seems Eed Woodward has already started preparing for life after Pogba.

According to reports, Manchester United have held talks with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s agent and Lazio officials over a possible move.

The Serbian powerhouse was a target for United last summer but a deal failed to go through, given the mammoth £107.5m asking price for the player. However, a substandard season in the Serie A has seen the 24-year-old’s value drop.
Lazio have now lowered his price to £90m and could also accept as little as £72m for his services.

Solskjaer is apparently looking at Savic as the man to feel Pogba’s boots once the Frenchman quits the club, albeit United still remain keen on holding on to their superstar.
