Haaland is in his prime form, scoring 11 goals in eight appearances in Bundesliga 2021-22.

Erling Haaland is currently a hot property among all big European clubs. Manchester United are reportedly interested to sign Borussia Dortmund’s star player next summer. Red Devils want to sign West Ham United’s Declan Rice as well in the next transfer window.

Haaland is in his prime form, scoring 11 goals in eight appearances in Bundesliga 2-21-22. The 21-year-old has now scored 68 goals in 67 matches for the BVB in all competitions.

A £67m release clause in Haaland’s contract will become active next summer, and big European clubs including United will fight out to sign Norway international.

Meanwhile, Rice was linked with Old Trafford but he remained at West Ham. Rice excelled for England at Euro 2020 and was part of the runner-ups’ side. He has three years left at West Ham according to his current contract but he is optimistic to secure a place at Old Trafford next summer.

As per the reports of Manchester Evening News journalist Samuel Luckhurst, the English club is interested in both Haaland and Rice. Luckhurst said, “A season of capacity crowds, revenue up and staggered spending this summer would make it affordable to sign both next year.”
