Manchester United Lining Up Five Signings And A £150m Package

The Independent claims that Manchester United are working on a deal to sign both Joao Felix and Bruno Fernandes in the offseason.

The Red Devils chairman, Ed Woodward is reportedly preparing a £150m package to lure the Portuguese duo to Old Trafford. Ole Solskjaer is plotting quality additions at various positions and is looking to sign at least five players if not more, this summer.

Felix is one of the most sought after teenage talents in world football after the breakout season he has just enjoyed in the Primera Liga. The Benfica winger has been dubbed as ‘the next Cristiano Ronaldo’ in his own home nation.

That is a ridiculously high expectation to shoulder and we have often seen talented prodigies wither early in their careers due to these overwhelming presumptions.

Bruno Fernandes is a highly talented midfield option as well, valued at around £100m in his release clause. Sporting Lisbon reportedly would lower their asking fee but there are a lot of suitors lined up for the 24-year-old.

United are aware that signing the high profile names would be difficult if Champions League football is achieved for the next season. Solskjaer wants to make improvements to the right-back, centre-half and striker positions at Old Trafford.
