Manchester United Make The First Move To Sign Fulham Youngster

Manchester United have made the initial contact with Fulham for Ryan Sessegnon.

Following a very underwhelming start to the season, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been on the lookout for promising young talents. Sessegnon has been one of the most encouraging English prospects over the last couple of seasons and should the Red Devils manage to broker a deal it would enhance their homegrown talents.

Fulham’s relegation to the Championship eased the burden of the 18 year old as he is very keen to remain in the Premier League. The teenager is about to turn 19 and with only one year left on his contract, it might be the best opportunity for the London outfit to earn some easy money.

The teenager mainly operates from the left side and has played as a left back, left midfielder and a left winger. There is a dearth of an out and out winger at Manchester United currently as both Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford love to cut in and believe in a more direct approach towards the goal.

Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in the player as Mauricio Pochettino wants all the signing as soon as possible in a bid to set up his team much before the next season starts.
