United skipper slams Kavanagh's decision for controversial red card against Spurs
BILDBYRÃ…N

According to reports, Manchester United might be willing to go with Bruno Fernandes in order to finance a significant acquisition of three new midfield players. Elliot Anderson, Carlos Baleba, and Adam Wharton might cost the Red Devils up to £250 million, and they are reportedly eager to sign them all.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, Man Utd may permit two more well-known players, Marcus Rashford and Casemiro, to depart Old Trafford in order to assist in balancing the books. The Portugal international has been United’s standout player for the past several years, and it appears they would be willing to take a huge risk by letting him go.

To be fair, Fernandes is getting older, and it’s possible that the club won’t have many more chances to profit from him because he will probably have suitors from the Saudi Pro League who are willing to pay a high sum of money to enter United’s transfer budget.

Man Utd warned not to ignore stupid Saudi offers for Bruno Fernandes

Even while some supporters will undoubtedly be upset about it, summer 2026 could be a good moment to let Fernandes go if they don’t want to extend his current contract, which expires in 2027. “I had the conversations with Al-Hilal,” Fernandes stated regarding the transfer drama he was in during the summer of 2025.

Everybody knows that. Everyone is aware of it. Other teams attempted to pursue Al-Hilal as well, but my response would certainly remain the same. Regarding discussions with United executives, including head coach Ruben Amorim, he added, “He wanted me to stay.” That’s what the club stated.

And I used to say that if the club said, “Bruno, you are thirty years old; we want to cash in.” Our goal is to earn some money. I would be like, “Okay, I have to find a solution for myself, whatever is best for me and my family,” if they said something like, “We don’t think you can be part of the future project.” And I’ll go away.
