Manchester United Prepare £50m Offer For Tottenham Hotspur Target

The Express reports on Manchester United’s rising interests in signing Fulham youngster, Ryan Sessegnon.

The Red Devils are thought to be preparing a monstrous £50m offer to beat out Tottenham Hotspur in the race for the 18-year-old.

Sessegnon is one of Fulham’s most prized assets and is wanted by a number of European outfits. Even at such a young age, the versatile winger has established himself as a regular starter for the Cottagers.

He was introduced into the senior squad last term and even as a skinny legged teenager, he played a key role in the club’s promotion back into the Premier League. Now, he has made 26 appearances for the club in the English top-flight, quickly proving to everyone of his potential as a footballer.

The Red Devils have previously been linked to the Roehampton born wide man but it was Tottenham who were claimed to be the most interested in him. With the North London outfit struggling to conjure up any funds for player transfers, it seems like the path has been opened up for Ed Woodward to make a swoop for the 7-time England U21 international.

Sessegnon originally started out as a fullback but due to his technical abilities and offensive intelligence, he has been shifted to a more attacking role on the left flank.

Fulham are 7 points behind from safety in the Premier League and might be forced to sell their best assets if they get relegated by season end.
