According to reports from the rumour mill, Manchester United have received a boost in their chase for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho. The Red Devils are keen on snapping up the youngster and the move could be realized next summer.

Sancho left Manchester City in 2017 to join Dortmund in search of first-team football. The 19-year-old has established himself as an integral part of the club’s setup, attracting interest from top clubs around Europe.

United tried signing Sancho this summer but failed to convince him to move to Old Trafford due to the absence of Champions League football.

And now, according to the rumours, Dortmund are already looking at prospects to replace him. They have accepted that they are resigned to losing him next summer.

“There aren’t many 19-year-olds with such potential Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke told Ruhr Nachrichten.

“He is also not a player from the region or one who would have any connection to it.”

“When you have a player like Jadon Sancho, you must reassess the situation every single year. Everything else would not be honest.”

“If a foreign player is not convinced that the club is right for him at the exact time, it just does not make any sense.”

If his current form continues, Jadon Sanchi could also be on the radar of Real Madrid and Barcelona next summer.
