Fulham's Aboubakar Kamara Arrested After Training Ground Altercation

Reports coming out Italy state that Manchester United have contacted Inter Milan regarding a £40m transfer of Ivan Perisic.

The Red Devils have previously been linked with the Croatian winger while under the management of Jose Mourinho. The report claims that United have simply approached Inter regarding the status of Perisic and whether he is for sale or not.

The talks are still very much in the early stages with Ed Woodward ready to sanction a deal for a wing addition. Manchester United have been linked with several other players who operate from the wide positions including Juventus’ Douglas Costa and 21-year-old Steven Bergwijn.

Perisic is one of the most prominent figures in the Inter lineup. He played a key role in Croatia’s final appearance in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The 29-year-old is good with both his feet and is always eager to supply balls into the opposition box. He is not necessarily the fastest of all wingers but can operate from either side of the flanks.

However, the question remains to be seen whether United will shell such a significant amount for a player who will soon hit 30. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has also found success with the versatile partnership of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in the final third.

The two young footballers has found a rich vein of form under the new interim boss and even has established themselves as regular figures in the squad ahead of Alexis Sanchez.
