Manchester United are leading the race for Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho but are expected to face some strong resistance from Paris Saint Germain.
Sancho has emerged as the hottest prospect in the European circuit following his stupendous start this season. The English international arrived in Germany in January 2018 but struggled in his early days at the club.
But the 18 year old has become a pivotal part of Dortmund’s set up this time with nine goals and 14 assists in 31 matches so far. United are expected to overhaul their current squad in the summer and the Winger has become their number one target.
With this inflated transfer market, United would have to pay in excess of £100m they are to acquire his service. But United do have a tough task as PSG are also believed to be interested in the player.
The French club already has Kylian Mbappe and Neymar in their ranks and the prospect of forming a trio with Sancho is pretty exciting. Dortmund paid a mere £10m to Manchester City and are set for a huge profit if the player does leave the club.
United’s chances of getting the deal done are very slim but the Red Devils will definitely fancy their chances once the transfer window becomes active.
