Manchester United Set To Take On Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Hometown Club In Preseason

Manchester United could take on Kristiansund in a preseason friendly which also happens to be manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s hometown club.

United have already confirmed their participation in the International Champions Cup and could visit Norway to in a bid to strengthen their support base in the country.

The Red Devils are scheduled to take part in a number of interesting fixtures and will visit Australia, Singapore, China and Cardiff as part of their Preseason schedule.

United will start their preseason with a match against Perth Glory followed by their archrivals Leeds United in Australia. They will then fly to Singapore to face Inter Milan and are due to entertain Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur in China.

The tour concludes with a match against Italian heavyweights AC Milan in Cardiff on 3rd August. United are yet to confirm the fixture against Kristiansund but if it does take place it would be sandwiched between their match against Spurs and Milan.

The Red Devils will also have to go through Europa League qualifiers if they finish the season in the sixth position and Watford get the better of Manchester City in the FA Cup Final.
