Manchester United Star Could Head For Exit Door For Infuriating Solskjaer

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would not mind adding one of Manchester United’s star in the summer clearout list.

The Norwegian boss has already sent out a chilling warning to the entire Red Devils squad after their 4-0 defeat at the hands of Everton last month.

“I don’t know. You’ve got to ask them. I’ve asked them. You’re not going to get the answer from me. Of course, if you want to play at this club it’s got to mean more,” said Solskjaer.

“We have to stick together as a team. We can’t change the whole squad but it’s one step at a time. I’m going to be successful here and there are players there that won’t be part of that successful team, but there are many of them that do have it.”

Reports claim that Anthony Martial could be one of the players who can be shown his way out of the door after this term. The Frenchman only signed a new contract in January after fighting off rumours of leaving under Jose Mourinho.

After weeks of poor display, it seems like Solskjaer has overturned his decision to keep the 23-year-old. Martial’s conduct and discipline was a problem with Mourinho and it seems to be bothering the current United boss as well.

The forward’s attitude in training has not been up to the standards that Solskjaer expects it to be and that clearly shows on the pitch oftentimes. While Martial has shown a lot of promise since coming into Old Trafford as a teenager, almost everyone can admit that his development has staggered in recent seasons.

It remains to be seen if clubs would jump at the chance of signing a 23-year-old who earns roughly £200,000-per-week and is tied to the club till June 2024.
