Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a summer move for Brighton & Hove Albion winger Yankuba Minteh, as manager Ruben Amorim seeks to bolster his attacking options following the imminent arrival of Matheus Cunha.

Minteh, 20, has enjoyed a breakout season at Brighton after joining from Newcastle United for £30 million in July 2024.
The Gambian international has impressed with six goals and four assists in 31 Premier League appearances, showcasing his explosive pace and creativity.
His performance against United in January, where he scored the opening goal in Brighton’s 3-1 victory at Old Trafford, reportedly caught the attention of United’s recruitment team.
Known for his blistering speed—clocked at 35.38 km/h, making him Brighton’s fastest player this season—Minteh ranks fourth in the league for attempted dribbles and leads his team in expected assists per 90 minutes.
His ability to cut inside from the right wing and create scoring opportunities aligns with Amorim’s preferred 3-4-2-1 system, potentially forming a dynamic partnership with Cunha in the attacking midfield.
