Manchester United To Face Chelsea In The FA Cup Fifth Round

Manchester United have been drawn with Chelsea in the FA Cup fifth round and will travel to Stamford Bridge next month in a bid to earn a place in the quarter final.

The fixture is a repeat of last year’s final and the Red Devils will now have a chance to avenge their slender 1-0 defeat. the next two months could be season defining  for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as United are about to enter the toughest phase of the season.

United’s first tricky test will be an away match to Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League. Then they will travel to London to face Chelsea in the FA Cup followed by a game against Liverpool at the Old Trafford.

In the first week of March, the Red Devils will take on PSG in the reverse fixture in Manchester alongside back to back matches against Arsenal and title holders Manchester City.

United shrugged off the challenge of Arsenal 3-1 in the fourth round of the Fa Cup while Maurizio Sarri’s men had it easy against Sheffield Wednesday as they won 3-0 pretty comfortably.

United last met with the Blues in the quarters back in 2017 when an N’Golo Kante strike made all the difference.
