Top five highest paid Manchester United players 2019 Luke Shaw

Luke Shaw has been adjudged the Sir Matt Busby Player of the year.

The Manchester United defender has been rewarded for his consistent performances on the left side of the defence throughout the season. The 23 year old started the season as the preferable left back and has managed to churn out a number of wonderful performances for the Red Devils.

The English international’s United career had been hit with persistent injury problems but this time he has been featured in 40 games for the Red Devils proving his doubters wrong. He has also won the Players’ Player of the Year making it two out of two at United’s award programme.

Shaw said, “It’s obviously nice for me, but I’d rather win no [individual] trophies and have a better season as a team. We need to move on and focus now on next season and what’s to come.

“Ole has done an amazing job and of course we’ve had ups and downs but he’s obviously looking forward to getting us back in pre-season and getting his proper work done for next season. We’re all looking forward to starting fresh next season with him as the manager.”

It is the season of the English Premier League.

While Liverpool completed a stunning comeback in Anfield, Tottenham travelled to Ajax and provided an even more stunning second half to make it an all English final in the Champions League.

Next we moved on to the Europa League where Arsenal thrashed Valencia and Chelsea provided nervy moments before joining the Gunners in the finals of the Europa League.

Manchester City are well on their way to the league title and will be entering Wembley to play their second domestic cup final in three months time.

So where does that leave the last big club. The sixth member of the top 6. Manchester United.

The Red Devils started the season horribly despite being one of the biggest spenders in the last few seasons in the market. Their boss Jose Mourinho was sacked and the club seemed to be in tatters.

He was replaced by old boy Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The ex United forward went on a winning spree which saw United’s fortunes turn and the club offered him a permanent job.

However, the honeymoon has ended since and United have just won 2 of their last 11 matches in all competitions. They are nowhere on the map in Europe and are falling far behind now what is soon becoming a top 5.

Is this the end of the great club?

Manchester United Reach Agreement To Sign Argentine Superstar

Manchester United Reach Agreement To Sign Argentine Superstar

Manchester United fans are ecstatic to welcome Paulo Dybala into the club after reports revealed that a deal had been agreed upon with Juventus.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been plotting a complete squad overhaul for the summer after failing to grasp Champions League football.

The Norwegian boss is expected to be backed by the club chairman, Ed Woodward who has previously catered to whims of former managers, David Moyes, Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho in their debut campaigns.

Solskjaer will understandably find it hard to attract top players with just the Europa League but football consultant, Ian McGarry has claimed that a deal has been made ‘in principle’ for Dybala.

“There have been some reports In Italy that Manchester United have declared an interest in Dybala,” he told the Transfer Window podcast.

“However, our sources are telling us and the information we have is that in fact United have agreed in principle to pay the €100m (£86m) buyout clause that it would take to get Dybala out of Juventus.”

The Argentine forward has suffered a disappointing campaign after his post got overshadowed by the mammoth presence of Cristiano Ronaldo in the attacking lineup. Dybala has struggled to mesh with the new direction Juventus has taken up under Massimiliano Allegri, ousting him from the starting lineup in crucial games.

United are searching for a central offensive presence who will be able to take up the creative and scoring burden of Paul Pogba if the Frenchman forces a move out of Old Trafford.

Manchester United Considering Fresh Offer For Defender

Manchester United Considering Fresh Offer For Defender

Manchester United are considering to reignite their interest in Leicester City defender Harry Maguire.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has had a tough time reorganizing the backline and bringing a new centre-back is his top priority. United had been in the market since the last summer and their failure to bring in a defender has taken a toll on their defensive performance this season.

The Red Devils have conceded a whopping 52 goals this term, the most amongst the top eight teams in the Premier League. Except for Victor Lindelof, no other players have managed to impress in the heart of the defence and the Swedish international could be paired with a new face next season.

Maguire has been a rock in the Foxes defence and his supreme performance throughout this season has only inflated his price once again. After having an underwhelming season fund will be available for United and an offer in the region of £80m should be enough to tempt Leicester in letting leave their prized asset.

United have scouted a number of other defenders in the recent past with the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly, Milan Skriniar and Alessio Romagnoli but Maguire’s expertise in Premier League football has made him a favourable prospect.

Manchester United Players Facing Massive Wage Cut After Failing To Secure Champions League Football

Manchester United Players Massive Wage Cut After Failing To Secure Champions League Football

Manchester United players are set to receive a pay cut following their inability to finish in the top four.

The Red Devils are scheduled to compete in the Europa League next season and their failure to secure Champions League football will have an adverse effect on their financial structure.

A number of United squad members with the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku will be getting a 25% wage cut in the next season. Pogba takes a whopping £300,000 week currently and could lose a fortune in the tune of £1.8m in bonuses.

Not all players are going to be affected as some of them don’t have the bonus facilities. The Red Devils are also expected to miss out a large chunk of the television revenues and prize money which could stand up to a massive £65m.

Their sponsorship deal with kit giants Adidas will also take a hit if they don’t finish in the top four next season as it could reduce their sponsorship deal by 30%.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to be given a hefty transfer kitty and we could see a number of new faces at the Old Trafford next season.

Why Manchester United should be excited by this transfer possibility

Dear Manchester United fans,

Turn around the clock. Say about 25 years? or 27 to be exact.

What do you see? The famous class of ’92, right? Well that’s what changed the entire course of the recent history at Manchester United.

Of course, Sir Alex Ferguson was the protagonist but these elements or infinity stones, dare I call them, were the players who come along once in a generation, the class of ’92.

Of the three most popular ones, two stayed loyal through and through; Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs.

While Scholes masterminded the midfielder, Giggs started the career as a star on fire. He flashed up and down the wing and scored for fun, he was a defenders’ nightmare, our very own Ryan Giggs.

United have had some iconic and defining wingers over the decades but Giggs, the club legend with the most appearances stands out for his service and adaptability to the club.

He was one of kind. Or was he? Well fans and scouts in England surely seem think otherwise. Welcome, Daniel James into the fray.

The young dynamic winger currently plays for South Welsh side Swansea City FC. He had a sure shot deal to Leeds United fall through in the winter transfer market earlier this year and it all now seems destiny because Manchester United can be his next home come summer.

James is the young prodigy being tipped as the “next Ryan Giggs” in the market, quite a tag to live up to. However, exciting days could be ahead for the Red Devils faithful if James could even live up to half of what Giggsy did at Old Trafford, should a move materialise.

A promising summer lies ahead after a disappointing season and turning back the clock could be a good relief for the United loyalists.

Glory glory Man United! And the Reds go marching on…

Manchester United Scouts Have Discovered The Next Messi And Ozil

Manchester United Scouts Have Discovered The Next Messi And Ozil

Manchester United scouts were noticed watching Trabzonspor duo, Abdulkadir Omur and Yusuf Yazici, as confirmed by the club’s president.

The Red Devils took themselves out of the top-four race with a 1-1 draw against Huddersfield Town last weekend. It has made abundantly clear by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that an entire squad overhaul is being planned.

The United manager, who often follows the blueprint of his old boss, Alex Ferguson might also be in favour of injecting a bit of youth into this squad.

Omur and Yazici are two of the most talented youngsters in the Super Lig with the potential to make it into the European top tier leagues.

“Our players have been watched closely for a long time. Today, Manchester United and Lille scouts were at the game (a 4-2 win against Kayserispor),” Ahmed Agaoglu said when asked about the prospects of the two leaving for Old Trafford.

“It makes us very proud that Trabzonspor players are on the radars of the biggest clubs in Europe.”

Omur has been hailed as the next Lionel Messi for his quick feet and incredible dribbling ability. The winger has scored 9 goals in 29 games this season.

Mesut Ozil, who is a German international but of Turkish origin, has previously lauded Yazici. The Arsenal number ten was quoted, “Yusuf Yazici is an amazing No 10. We have a lot of similarities and I myself in him. His left foot, his position, his close passing and calmness on the ball.”

Manchester United Planning A Sensational Move For This Argentine Sensation

Manchester United Planning A Sensational Move For This Argentine Sensation

Manchester United are considering a move for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala.

United are ready to go aggressive in the summer and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to bring in at least 4 players in a complete squad overhaul. The Red Devils have failed to claim a place in the top four and will compete in the Europa League next season.

Dybala is no more the blues eyed boy of the Turin giants and the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo has had a major influence in his game time. The resurgence of Federico Bernardeschi has also been a major issue with his game time and Juventus could sanction Dybala’s departure if their demands are met.

The Red Devils would have to shell in the tune of £85 if they are to rope in the Argentine star. Following an underwhelming season, Romelu Lukaku’s future hangs in the balance currently and if he leaves the void needs to be fulfilled.

The likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial need partners to shoulder the responsibility and Dybala could be the x-factor that United have been searching since Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure.

The likes of Manchester City and Liverpool are way ahead when the quality of players are concerned and the arrival of the 25 year old would give United a  much needed edge.

Matic’s vote of confidence for De Gea

Nemanja Matic believes his Manchester United teammate David De Gea is still one of the best goalkeepers in the world and has backed the Spanish number one to come good and deliver in the future after a few large blunders recently this season.

“Players make mistakes in every game and when a goalkeeper makes a mistake everyone sees that,” Matic told Sky Sports.

“When you are one of the best goalkeepers in the world people talk so much about his mistakes.

“When a goalkeeper at a ‘smaller’ club makes a mistake, its spoken about for one or two days, but one of De Gea’s mistakes is being spoken about for seven days.

“I’m very confident that this mistake won’t affect his career. He doesn’t read newspapers. He is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and will be for years to come. I am very happy to have him in the team.

“He is a great guy, a great goalkeeper, and is probably the best player at United over the last four or five years. He is very focused on his job and is a good character. It’s good to have people like him in the dressing room.”

Manchester United Star About To Force A Move Out Of Club

Manchester United Top Scorer 2018/19

ESPN FC sources claim that Paul Pogba is willing to force a move out of Manchester United if the club refuses to sell him this summer.

Failing to qualify for next season’s Champions League has convinced the Frenchman about to take his talents elsewhere. His agent, Mino Raiola is expected to speak with the United ownership about letting his client leave for the highest bidder.

Reports have already linked Pogba with a move to Real Madrid and it seems more likely than ever. The midfielder’s contract is due to end in the summer of 2021 but the Red Devils have an option to extend it by one year.

He arrived on a club record fee of £100m but only after three years is ready to call it quits. The 2018/19 campaign has been truly woeful for the United faithful, watching their team collapse under two managers after getting a bit of hope at the break of the new year.

Ole Solskjaer is plotting a complete rebuild which is expected to take time and a lot of financial resources. Pogba, 27 is not interested in being part of another comeback process and is instead, eager to win silverware right now.

The Red Devils chairman, Ed Woodward still views him as a key piece in the club’s setup due to his flamboyant presence off the pitch. Pogba is a huge brand in world football and the club wants to profit off of his name.

His brother, Florentin Pogba has also told AS that “things will happen in the summer”.
