Manchester United fans eager to see players come and go this summer

The issue that fans are now facing is that, despite United’s announcement that up to eleven players would depart due to expired contracts, we have made zero signings as of today, June 22.

As United wrangle with Barcelona about a desired transfer cost, it is clear that Frenkie de Jong is the top objective. According to reports heard all night, the Catalan team would insist on a guaranteed sum of £86 million.

After De Jong’s prospective deal, the new manager Ten Hag is likely to make commitments to other targets since he will then know more precisely how much money he has left to spend this summer.

Additionally, United will try to offload some of the players that Ten Hag wants to move on.

If United can unload the defensive three of Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, and Axel Tuanzebe this summer, they’ll aim to buy a new center-back.

It will be a big ask, but supporters will hope that it doesn’t imply Ten Hag won’t sign a new defender if they are unable to sell all three.

especially given United’s dismal track record of selling players.
The players United is attempting to offload this summer saw virtually little playing time throughout the previous season.

Ralf Rangnick cut Bailly from the team, Jones was content to play at Anfield away from home, and Tuanzebe had two unsuccessful loan stints at Aston Villa and Napoli.

John Murtough faces a challenging task.
