Grealish has been a long time target of Solskjaer.

And the Red Devils want to secure his signature as early as possible.

Manchester United are keen on signing Jack Grealish before this summer’s European Championships as they fear the midfielder’s value could soar if he impresses for England at the tournament, as per Manchester Evening News.

The 24-year-old has been Aston Villa’s talisman this term and is leading their bid to stay in the Premier League with seven goals and six assists to his name in 25 appearances. Grealish scored an exquisite goal at Old Trafford in December and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was full of praise for the midfielder afterwards, describing him as the best player on the pitch.

The midfielder told Sky Sports later that month that he had ‘always wanted to play at Old Trafford’: “That was my favourite goal ever. Scoring at Old Trafford… I’ve always wanted to play at Old Trafford. I’ve played there before in a reserve cup final but it’s not the same when it’s like that. That’s obviously my favourite ground in the Premier League. It was one of them, as soon as I shot I knew it was going into the top corner and I couldn’t have hit it any better.”
