Manchester United star Marcus Rashford remains a transfer target for French superclub Paris Saint-Germain

PSG has been seeking for ways to fill the vacuum which will be left by French starlet Kylian Mbappe, who is slated to leave in the summer when his contract expires.

And, according to Fabrizio Romano, the French club has Rashford on their list of possible replacements, with these suspicions intensifying following news today that Rashford is evaluating his future with The Red Devils.

Rashford has battled for form and fitness since returning to United’s team this season after a lengthy injury layoff from an operation he underwent after Euro 2020.

As a result, the 24-year-old has fallen out of favour with Ralf Rangnick in recent weeks, with United’s newest academy product Anthony Elanga frequently taking his place.

Rashford has only made nine Premier League starts in 18 outings since returning from injury.

He was also dissatisfied with his performance in the Manchester derby, which he did not start because senior players Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani were injured.

With this in mind, Rashford might wait to see who fills the vacant job and learn his function under them before making a final choice if any interested parties approach him.

His contract continues through 2023, although there is an optional extension that will most likely be activated if a new deal is not reached before the last six months.
