Juventus are after Mason Greenwood, and the Manchester United attacker has expressed an interest in joining the Serie A club during the summer transfer window. Greenwood is expected to return to United in the coming weeks after impressing on loan at Getafe last season, when he scored eight goals and six assists in LaLiga and he was named as the club’s player of the year.

The 22-year-old has not played for United since he was arrested in January 2022 on allegations of attempted rape, controlling conduct, and violence, which were later dropped. It is known that a number of prominent European teams have been keeping an eye on Greenwood’s status in recent months, with Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, and Napoli all reportedly interested.

Mason Greenwood gives green light to Italian giant

It’s said that Mason Greenwood has approved a summer transfer to Juventus, but the Bianconeri are hoping Manchester United will drop their asking price. If United don’t back down from their asking price for the 22-year-old, who made an impression when on loan at Getafe last season, a promising player may be included in the trade.

The Italian giant may even include Mason Greenwood in a trade for Chiesa with Manchester United. Due to the lack of progress in negotiations to extend his contract at the Allianz Stadium, Federico Chiesa may depart Juventus in the summer. If he does not sign a new contract by June 2025, Juventus will be compelled to sell him.
