Mauricio Pochettino expresses his desire to continue at PSG.

The Red Devils are on the hunt for a new manager this summer and Pochettino and Erik Ten Hag are possible suitors for the summer.

Despite taking the PSG managerial role just 18 months ago, his future looks quite uncertain after their latest exit from the Champions League.

The former Spurs manager has only one-year left on his contract and addressed his future after PSG’s latest 5-1 win over Lorient.

“If it is possible to stay at PSG next season? For the moment, I am not discussing my future with the leaders of the club,” he told Foot Mercato.

“I have one year left on my contract, but it is important to analyse before making a decision and afterwards, of course, we will also respect the decision taken by the club for the future. What will happen will happen.”

Even club legend Wayne Rooney has backed the Argentinian to take the helm at Old Trafford this summer.

“I think Pochettino has done it in the Premier League, he knows the Premier League,” said Rooney.

“I’d go with Pochettino and I’d give him time I think. For managers now they need time to come in and actually make their print on the club and on the team and if they give him time I think he’ll do well.”
