Italian agent Gigi Lacomino recently discussed Antonio Conte’s desire to pursue Sofyan Amrabat as his first player at Napoli in an interview with Spazio Napoli. It is unlikely that the midfield player, who was on loan at Manchester United last season, will make a permanent move to Old Trafford. Napoli, who have other choices for the midfield, has demanded terms from Sofyan Amrabat’s contract.

Napoli and Manchester United continue to demand a €30 million package for Scott McTominay, so a deal is still possible. Amrabat was particularly strong at the conclusion of 2023–2024 and held his own even in a chaotic squad. To turn his Fiorentina loan into a permanent move, Manchester United just has to spend £21 million. That option might not be used, though, as they might search elsewhere for midfield reinforcements. Conte is now free to start negotiating with Amrabat about potentially joining the all-star team in Serie A.

Man Utd Hold Firm on Asking Price for Napoli Target

Manchester United could receive funds in the final stages of the summer transfer window to help in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte. Moreover, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also provided new information on the situation involving Napoli and the Manchester United midfielder.

Romano claims that Napoli is examining the terms of a possible move involving Sofyan Amrabat, only one of their midfield alternatives. In addition, McTominay is being considered, as Manchester United continues to demand a €30 million deal. The Serie A team is anticipated to make a choice about their pursuit of strengthening their midfield in the next few days.
