OFFICIAL: Man United confirm arrival of PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte

The 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year deal at Old Trafford.

Manchester United have confirmed the arrival of midfielder Manuel Ugarte from PSG on a five-year deal. He had just one season for the Ligue 1 giants after joining from Sporting Lisbon.

The 23-year-old played 37 matches last season for PSG across all competitions. He helped the French club to glory in both Ligue 1 and Coupe de France.

The Uruguay international was also part of the Copa America 2024 where his side finished third in the competition. He featured in all six matches.

Man United confirmed the arrival of Ugarte and the 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year deal at Old Trafford. His contract will expire in the summer of 2029.

There is also an option for Man United to extend Ugarte’s terms by a further 12 months. Ugarte revealed his excitement ahead of turning out for Man United, “It is an incredible feeling to join a club of this magnitude, one that is admired all around the world.”
