The announcement comes as a testament to the 22-year-old’s remarkable progress and importance to the team.

Diallo, who has been one of the standout performers for United this season, expressed his excitement about the new deal.

“I have had some incredible moments with this club already, but there is so much more to come,” Diallo said.

“I have huge ambitions in the game, and I want to achieve history at Manchester United.”

Having joined United from Atalanta in 2021, Diallo spent time on loan at Rangers and Sunderland to gain experience and hone his skills. Those spells proved invaluable, as he has now established himself as a regular in the first team.

This season alone, Diallo has made 26 appearances, contributing six goals and seven assists despite the team enduring a challenging campaign.

Diallo’s knack for delivering in critical moments has endeared him to the United faithful. His recent performances include a late equalizer in a thrilling 2-2 draw against league leaders Liverpool and a dramatic 90th-minute winner against Manchester City in December.

Last season, he delivered another iconic moment, scoring in extra time to secure a 4-3 victory over Liverpool in the FA Cup quarterfinals.

“It has been a difficult season for everyone, but I fully believe that we are on the right path and the future is going to be really special,” Diallo added.

“I am ready to give everything to help the team and make our supporters proud again.”

Manchester United’s technical director, Jason Wilcox, also praised the Ivorian’s development.

“Everyone is delighted with Amad’s progress; his quality on the ball, versatility, and determination make him a key part of the future of Manchester United,” Wilcox stated.

As the Red Devils look to rebuild and return to their former glory, securing Diallo’s services for the long term signals their belief in his ability to be a cornerstone of the club’s future success.
