Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Isn't Bothered About Sir Matt Busby's Record

Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not bothered about breaking Sir Matt Busby’s record at the club.

The Norwegian manager has transformed the side since taking up the managerial role and has inspired the Red Devils to five consecutive wins in the Premier League and the FA Cup.

United defeated Reading 2-0 to start the year on a good note but Solskjaer’s first stern test will be next Sunday’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur at the Wembley stadium. Spurs came out as the winner in the reverse fixture but this time it would be a different battle altogether.

Solskjaer has touched Matt Busby’s records following United’s 2-0 victory in the FA Cup which the former manager recorded in the 1946-47 season. But the former United forward insists he doesn’t care about the record.

“I don’t care.

“Not now. I might sit down in 20 years’ time and look at whatever records I have.

“When I’m in a position, I never look back on what I’m doing that way. Never, ever.”

“Spurs away, that’s a proper test,

“They have performed fantastically this season, they’ve got a great way of playing. There will be loads of things we need to look at.

“He [Pochettino] has got them performing really well over the last few seasons. Both as individuals and we have to look at the team unit and how we play against them.”
