Ole Gunnar Solskjaer To Hand First Team Minutes To Some Youngsters

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ready to use some young players in the next season.

The Norwegian manager is a strong believer of young policy and already introduced a number of youngsters in the Manchester United squad. The likes of Mason Greenwood, Tahith Chong and Ashley Gomes have had the chances of training with the senior team and Greenwood made his full debut in the 2-0 defeat to Cardiff City.

A number of players also impressed in their loan spells and are on the brink of a promotion to the senior team. With the Red Devils set to take part in the Europa League Solskjaer could use this opportunity to provide some much needed European exposure to the young embers.

“I have to say it’s nice for them to get a full season somewhere and play but, then again, maybe the best place to be is here, training with the best players in the world.

”In this environment, we’ve got a history of making them [young players] the best but we’ve got loads of good experiences of players being out for a year and coming back as men.

“Let’s see what we decide with these boys but I can see most staying here and getting their chances next year.”
