Ole Solskjaer's Motivating Words Convinced Pogba To Stay

According to latest reports, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has managed to convince Paul Pogba to remain at Manchester United while rumours have constantly linked the Frenchman with a move away from Old Trafford.

The 25-year-old did not have the easiest time adjusting to Jose Mourinho’s tactics which eventually resulted in a fallout between the two. Reports went on to claim that Pogba was being shopped around top European outfits by his agent, Mino Raiola.

The midfielder supposedly had even told his teammates that he would quit United with a loan move this very January. However, things have taken a major shift upon the sacking of Mourinho and the introduction of Solskjaer into the caretaker manager position.

The Norwegian head coach sat Pogba down and convinced him to keep his faith on the club. He also gave the midfielder a morale boost, calling him the best midfielder in the Premier League and the centre-piece of this United team.

Solskjaer’s words and management process certainly has worked so far with the Red Devils winning every fixture under the former Cardiff City boss and climbing their way into the top-four race. Pogba has completely refurbished his career, scoring and laying assist in almost every single one of the matches under Solskjaer.

His contract with United is set to run till the summer of 2021.
