Paul Pogba breaks silence on his Man United future

Manchester United has not offered Pogba a new contract.

The French midfielder has played a key role in United’s success last season as he enjoyed a fine spell of form in the second half of the season.

He just has one year left on his United contract and will be allowed to leave for free in the next summer.

There have been reports suggesting that United has contacted Pogba’s representatives over an extension but Pogba denies such claim.

The 28-year old World Cup winner admitted that he is fully focused on France’s Euro 2020 campaign.

‘I have one year of my contract left. Everyone knows that,’ Pogba told a press conference on Thursday.

‘There is no concrete proposal (from United) yet.

‘I haven’t sat down with the directors and the manager, I am still in Manchester.

‘My thinking now is the Euros. I am focused. I have more experience than before, I am focused on the present and that is the Euros. I have an agent who takes care of all that.’
