Pogba tweeted a picture that many Manchester United fans found disrespectful

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been criticised by the club’s fans due to a disrespectful tweet when on international duty.

Pogba tweeted a picture of him speaking discreetly to teammates Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe. He then asked his 5.77 million followers to caption the image.

Manchester United fans found this tweet offensive to the club and did not refrain from sharing their opinions about the tweet.

One fan said, “You are not bigger than our club, if you want to leave, then leave. We will find someone better.” Another said, “I’ll just keep this simple with three words: LEAVE MY CLUB.”

Another fan said, “Paul’s comment is really unprofessional and shows he is not committed to Man United.” There were plenty more comments from United fans that criticised Pogba.

Pogba’s future at Manchester United is something that has been widely discussed in the past month or so. There have been rumors that he and Jose Mourinho do not share a good relationship at the club.

Pogba himself gave the hint earlier this week that he may leave Old Trafford in the coming months. He said, “My future is currently in Manchester, I still have a contract. I’m playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months.”

Pogba started in France’s UEFA Nations League opener againts Germany at Munich. He will surely start their next Nations League fixture against Netherlands at Saint-Denis.
