Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal: what is common between them?
Well for starters, the three teams are fighting really hard to occupy the fourth spot. Currently Chelsea are fourth, Arsenal are fifth and Manchester United are sixth.
The three teams are separated by three points with only three games to go. Things could not get any more intense it would have seemed.
However, as it would happen, even off the pitch, they are fighting to secure the signing of one player; Saul.
The Atletico Madrid player has been subject to intense speculation over the season as he has been linked with all the clubs. However, the latest news would seem depressing and saddening for all clubs as the player has confirmed that he has committed his future to Atletico Madrid for the future and would want to see his long term contract out.
“Will you stay at Atleti?”, the Spanish international was asked. “Of course I’m staying”, he replied. Atlético tied Saúl down in 2017 with a contract that means he will stay with the club until June 2026. I’m here until I’m 32″
Well the market is a big place and there might be more players, but Saul will surely be a big miss for the English clubs.
