Erik ten Hag will be the new manager of Manchester United.

The Dutchman will take over the managerial role at Manchester United from Ralf Rangick in the summer.

Rangnick would be appointed an advisory role on the board according to reports.

Ten Hag is expected to make some big changes in the current United squad with almost 8-10 players expected to leave in the summer window.

Rangnick shares his views on the newly-appointed United manager.

Rangnick said: “We don’t know each other in person, we haven’t met in person. But from what I have seen of him at Bayern Munich and at Ajax, I like his football.

“I’m pretty positive that with a full pre-season, with having the chance to build and mould his own staff, also a new team, it’s obvious we will have a new team, I’m pretty sure we will see an improvement on the pitch.”

He added: “I knew that Erik was one of the candidates that the board spoke to. I told them, from what I have known, that I think he would be a good choice. I still believe he is a very good choice.”
