Real Madrid are very confident of landing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.
According to ESPN, Los Blancos are confident of adding Paul Pogba to a list of high profile summer signings that already include Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Ferland Mendy, Eder Militao and Rodrygo.
Zinedine Zidane is keen on landing Pogba although Real President Florentino Perez feels that it will be very difficult to sign the Frenchman given Manchester United’s unwillingness to sell him.
According to MARCA, Manchester United have slapped a €200 million on Pogba and the best way for Real to sign him is by offloading some of their own players to raise funds.
However, ESPN state that the Red Devils are holding out for €180 million but Real are confident about reaching an agreement with Manchester United.
Pogba is one of Manchester United’s prized possessions and the club is not willing to sell him until they have found a suitable replacement. There were reports claiming that Manchester United were in for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic while also trying to sign Harry Maguire.

Real were reportedly open to selling Marco Asensio with Liverpool interested in the winger. However, with Asensio’s ACL injury that could rule him out for most of the season if not the entirety of it, no club will be keen on splashing too much cash on Asensio.
