According to reports from The Sun, Real Madrid are planning to make a huge £100 bid for Manchester United star Marcus Rashford before the summer.
Rashford’s performances for Manchester United have been pretty impressive lately. In 29 appearances across all competitions, the 21-year old has netted 9 goals and has provided 6 assists. Rashford has scored 5 goals in the 7 Premier League matches under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Rashford’s current contract at Manchester United expires in the summer of 2020. Manchester United are hoping for the forward to sign a new contract so that he doesn’t leave the club.
However, Real Madrid have reportedly promised Rashford to make him their top striker and a contract more lucrative than that of Manchester United’s. Besides, Real are more keen on signing Rashford before he signs a new contract with the Red Devils.
Real Madrid haven’t had a very memorable season so far and need some fortification in the attacking department. Hence, they are eager to get Rashford’s signature.
Manchester United have been rejuvenated after the arrival of club legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as assistant manager and Marcus Rashford has been an integral player in the past few weeks.
