Young players in Manchester United

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United has advanced in their pursuit of signing midfielder Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain, but they have not yet submitted an official bid. Central midfield is one of the many places that Manchester United hopes to add a player to their roster this summer. In order to make space and money, the Red Devils are looking for the ideal partner for Kobbie Mainoo, and they plan to sell Brazilian veteran Casemiro.

Moreover, Ugarte has attracted the attention of Bundesliga and Premier League teams. According to Fabrizio Romano, a transfer window expert, Ugarte is expected to have the option to leave PSG this summer. Additionally, according to Romano, Ugarte wasn’t the only player that Manchester United and PSG explored.

PSG rejected the initial bid from Man Utd for Ugarte

Manuel Ugarte, a midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain, was reportedly the target of a bid from Manchester United on Tuesday. It wasn’t just the 23-year-old that the Red Devils were talking about, though. Manchester United’s original offer for Ugarte was rejected by PSG because they felt it was insufficient, according to Loïc Tanzi of L’Equipe. The exact sum remains undisclosed; nevertheless, the capital club is willing to engage in discussions.

Journalist Ben Jacobs confirmed the news that PSG had rejected the Red Devils offer. According to Jacobs, PSG turned down a Manchester United bid for Ugarte since it fell short of their valuation.

Italian teams are interested in Ugarte, while Bayern Munich is also after him. Another Premier League team is in discussions with PSG over Ugarte. The 23-year-old expressed his wish to stay when discussing his future in May.
