Saudi Arabia Prince Doesn't Have Any Interest In Taking Over Manchester United

Prince Mohammed bin Salman doesn’t have any intention to take over Manchester United, his media manager has claimed.

Reports of a potential £3.8b bid from the billionaire have been doing the rounds for the last few days. The sports enthusiast is believed to have a great interest in football but it seems he is not ready to invest.

Manchester City already has a Qatari investor in Sheikh Mansour and in future, we could see more investor infusing their money in football clubs given the huge opportunity in this sport.

Glazer family took complete control of the club back in 2005 in a £790m deal. Since then the club has grown bigger and bigger and has become one of the largest football clubs in the world.

It would need at least a bid of £4 bn to start the negotiations for the bidding process. Turki al-Shabanah who happens to be his media minister confirmed the prince is not considering making an offer for Manchester United.

“Reports claiming that HRH the Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman intends on buying @ManUtd are completely false.

“Manchester United held a meeting with @PIFSaudi to discuss sponsorship opportunity. No deal has been materialized.”
