Sean Dyche Believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Has Transformed Manchester United

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has praised the impact of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United.

The Clarets are scheduled to visit Old Trafford on Tuesday and would be hoping to halt their current juggernaut. The Red Devils will be banking on their home comfort and they are expected to get past the visiting side with ease given their current run of form.

Since Solskjaer came in they are on an eight match winning run in all competitions and suddenly have become a potent force in the top four race. With just three points separating them with fourth placed Chelsea United are likely to push hard to break through into the Champions League spot.

Dyche said, “It seems from the outside looking in, it seems like he has just tried to loosen it a little bit and put more freedom on it.

“A bit more energy seems to have come back to the players. I think that’s a skill in itself. I think possibly that is what he has done; he has just given a different feel to the group in his own way.

“But I think they have responded and they are delivering good performances. It seems there is a little bit more spark, not massive tactical changes, but just that spark within the group.

“I am not questioning Jose Mourinho, I think he is an absolutely incredible and top manager. He’s [OGS] changed that feeling in the group coming in and they have responded.”
