With new West Ham manager Nuno Espírito Santo exploring a loan move to improve Joshua Zirkzee’s struggling attack, Sevilla has entered the race to offer him a way out of his Manchester United nightmare. Zirkzee will request a transfer from United during the January window. Even though the Dutch striker became a massive failure at United, there will be plenty of offers for him.

The Spanish powerhouses are eager to give Zirkzee a lifeline and are closely monitoring his condition. Matias Almeyda, the new manager, is in the process of reorganising his team and is eager to bolster his attacking options with more firepower.

Additionally, Almeyda believes Zirkzee’s style of play is better suited for La Liga. Since joining United from Bologna for £34 million during Erik ten Hag’s tenure, Zirkzee has had a difficult time. After slipping through the ranks at Old Trafford, the 24-year-old has only made four appearances this season after scoring just seven goals in 49 games last season.

Sevilla enter race to sign Manchester United forward

Fichajes claims that Zirkzee is seriously thinking about departing United during the winter transfer window. According to sources close to the player, he would accept a loan move to regain his form and rhythm.

According to the Spanish publication, Sevilla is prepared to go up against Betis, its rivals, to sign Zirkzee. Sevilla is reportedly willing to sign the United forward on loan, but they would want the Premier League powerhouses to pay a portion of his wage.

Zirkzee’s alleged relocation to Spain is reportedly the subject of advanced negotiations. Zirkzee knows he needs to play frequently in order to have a chance of being selected for the Netherlands squad for the World Cup next summer.
