According to reports from The Sun, former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has advised the club to sign Aston Villa star John McGinn. The Red Devils are currently trying to sign players with a view to strengthening their roster for the upcoming season.

The former Old Trafford boss has advised Solskjaer to go all out and sign the Aston Villa midfielder, who helped The Clarets gain promotion to the Premier League this season.

The Sun has also reported that Sir Alex still offers Solskjaer, who is keen on bolstering the squad this summer.

United have also been linked with a move for Sporting playmaker Bruno Fernandes and Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. They are also being linked with a move for Leicester City’s Harry Maguire as they aim to add steel to their ailing defence.

On the other side, Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba are being linked with an exit out of the club. The Frenchman has been linked with a move to Real Madrid while his Belgian teammate is being chased Italian giants Juventus and Inter Milan.
