Tahith Chong's agent hints at Manchester United exit

The youngster has been rejecting renewal options.

And he is set to leave the club soon.

Juventus and Inter Milan target Tahith Chong wants to leave Manchester United for “a club with a strong project,” said his agent. The 20-year-old winger will be out of contract in June and seems to have no intention of extending at Old Trafford.

“(Ole Gunnar) Solskjaer has different ideas on Tahith to the club owners,” agent Erkan Alkan told Voetbal International in the Netherlands.

“A manager thinks about himself, I think about my player. We’ve come to a point where he feels that he cannot continue here, so it is time to look elsewhere. His next club must have a strong project that will allow Tahith to further grow in a good environment.”

Tahith Chong arrived at Manchester United from Feyenoord as a 17-year-old with an abundance of potential. The young Dutchman has been exceptional in the United academy and U23 teams. However, he has struggled when making appearances for the first team.
