Manchester United are hoping to make eight new signings over the next two summer transfer windows. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is preparing to lead major squad overhaul at Old Trafford. United target 8 signings over next two seasons

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have had a woeful start to the season. They currently sit 15 points behind leaders Liverpool already after just eight matches. United are 12th in the league table and are 2 points off the relegation zone. That’s quite scaring. United target 8 signings over next two seasons.

However, according to The Telegraph, the Red Devils are well aware of their need to improve their playing staff and will make a number of signings over the next two summers. Their first signing can be made in January itself as the club is struggling to even make the top four.

Manchester United spent big on three signings this summer. They welcomed Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James.

Extensive meetings have already been held over potential targets. United bosses still have faith in Solskjaer’s plan to overhaul MUFC, which could take three years to fully transform the side. This will include a clear-out of deadwood expected to accompany the new signings.

Mathias Normann, James Maddison, Ruben Dias and Ben Chilwell are among the targets.
