Reports growing in Old Trafford is that Manchester United are chasing Islam Slimani.
With 3 days left in the January window, United are reportedly interested in the Leicester loanee.
While we do not want to judge Slimani, who could not cut it in Leicester and hence is now out on loan at AS Monaco, we surely want to know what Manchester United are playing at.
The club have collected their lowest haul of points in close to 30 years. They have been all but knocked out of the League cup.
Their star player Paul Pogba wants to leave so much that he would rather stay injured than get better. Their other star player Marcus Rashford is out for two months.
With the business end of the season coming, United have decided to finally act in the market – but to get Slimani!
The ridiculousness of the move simply cannot be fathomed. They need a striker who can win games, not add numbers.
Not like they have a half decent manager in Ole Gunnar – whose tactics are based on the Fantasy Manager he used to play – by his own admission.
This move, if it does go through, will surely add value to United becoming the next joke in football.
