Imagine three months back. United out of top four and likely to never make it up.
They had just lost to Liverpool 3-1 and it was a merciful result for Jose Mourinho’s defeated troops at the hands of a team who were ready to run through them like knife on butter.
Jose complained about a million things including his own players but the matter remained that United were in shambles and nothing like their old self. Three months on, a former Fergie faithful has taken over.
He has little experience and his CV is nowhere near as impressive as the Special One. However, one department in which he is miles ahead of Jose is playing the Fergie way. Call it luck or through and through Fergie style but Ole’s faith and love towards his old master’s way has seen the club return to the top four and United are a sleeping giant on the wake now.
The Old Trafford faithful love him, results are improving, Ole is making the club play the way they got their name on the map first, “attack, attack, attack.”
If any guy deserves a chance on the big stage, it’s him, for United’s sake.
