Zinedine Zidane has reportedly named four players who he wants to sign at Manchester United. Following Manchester United’s defeat to Tottenham in the Premier League, there have been calls of sacking Mourinho.
Zidane has been heavily linked to succeed Mourinho as Manchester United manager. And reports suggest that he has made a shortlist of players he would like to bring into Old Trafford.
According to reports, those players are Toni Kroos, Thiago Alcantara, James Rodriguez and Edinson Cavani.
Manchester United’s Premier League campaign hasn’t started very well as they have lost two of their four Premier League matches. One of the defeats include a defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion. Manchester United’s biggest issue is their backline. They couldn’t sign any center-back this summer even though they were heavily linked to signing the likes of Harry Maguire and Toby Alderweireld.
If there’s any chance of Zidane arriving and if he manages to sign these players, then they can make United a very formidable setup.
Manchester United are 10th in the Premier League table at present and next play Watford on Saturday.
